Immediately following the egg hunt, hop into the Museum for a family-friendly Eggstravaganza with a spectacular laser show, face painting, and a variety of children’s activities.

Your family is invited to another eggs-tra special annual egg hunt for toddlers to 8-year-olds. Bring a container for collecting and arrive early. Participants will be divided by age. The hunt begins at 10am SHARP! 

Make cordage, watch a flint knapper make tools, make cave painting prints, investigate prehistoric weaponry, learn to use plants and roots to survive, throw an atlatl, and measure a potshard.

Join us for international Astronomy day! Events and lectures will be held from 1:00 - 4:00. Speakers include Loren Acton, former NASA astronaut and Gerald Wheeler, past executive director of the National Science Teachers Association.

Explore the Siebel Dinosaur Complex with “Monty” the Dinosaur and the Museum’s Curator of Paleontology Jack Horner. See Dinosaur Chronicles in the Taylor Planetarium. Eager paleontologists can get their faces painted like a dinosaur and make a craft to take home.
