The Museum of the Rockies is open every day except Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. Currently the Museum is on Summer Hours and is open from 8am-8pm daily.

Visitor Information
Wheelchairs and strollers are available for public use. All restrooms and public areas are handicapped-accessible. Visitors needing special assistance can make advance arrangements by calling 406.994.6611               

Tours
Please check at the Front Desk  for the day's tour options by calling 406.994.2251. Please call ahead at 406.994.5257 to accomodate parties of 10 or more. 

Directions

From I-90

  • Exit at 19th
  • Take 19th Street south for 3.8 miles
  • Take a left on Kagy Blvd for about a mile
  • Take a right into the Museum parking lot. 

Admission Prices

Please note there has been an increase in admission prices due to our 2010 Summer exhibit, Leonardo da Vinci: Machines in Motion.

  • Adults $13
  • Children 5-18 $9
  • MSU Students $9 (with valid MSU ID)
  • Children 4 and under are free 
  • Seniors $12
  • All attractions except laser shows included in one price

  • Museum and Planetarium: 8am-8pm
  • Store: Daily 9am-8pm
  • Living History Farm: Daily 9am-5pm - Opens May 29, 2010
  • Lewis & Clark Challenge Course: Open

FALL/WINTER HOURS - September 7, 2010 through Memorial Day, 2011

  • Museum, Planetarium, and Store: Mon-Sat 9am-5pm; Sun 12:30-5pm
  • Living History Farm: Closed until Summer
  • Lewis & Clark Challenge Course: Closed until Summer

Your non-transferrable Museum admission sticker gives you unlimited access to the Museum for two consecutive days. Student prices are for students age 5-18 and MSU students. Members always get in to the Museum and Planetarium free, and get a 50% discount on laser shows. Prices and dates subject to change.
