Costume Society of America’s Jack Handford Summer Internship for 2018 

Museum of the Rockies is proud to be an eligible institution for the Costume Society of America’s Jack Handford Summer Internship for 2018. Student applicants must be a CSA Western Region member and an undergraduate about to commence their senior year in fall 2018 or a graduate student.

The Museum intern will be responsible for completing an inventory and updating storage methods of the extensive midcentury (1940s-1960s) hanging costume collection. Under the guidance of the Registrar & Collections Manager, the intern will gain experience in the museum inventory process as well as instruction in cataloging, cleaning, and labeling standards.

The application includes a letter of recommendation from a faculty member, current CV, copy of academic transcripts, and a short essay explaining goals within the field.
