SILENT AUCTION
The 2019 Silent Auction is open to everyone. Text MOR to 71760 to register and bid.

WINE STORE
Wine Store Order Forms are available at each Wine Tasting Table, listing the wonderful wines at the table which are available for you to taste AND PURCHASE. Fill out the Wine Store Order Form with your NAME & BID# and the number of bottles that you would like to purchase, and leave each order form at the Wine Tasting Table. The order forms will be collected and consolidated into one invoice for you at the end of the evening.

All Wine Store transactions will be processed by Vino Per Tutti. Representatives will be available at the 2nd Floor Check In \ Check Out Table after the Live Auction concludes to process your order and payment. Your Wine Order can be picked up at Vino Per Tutti beginning Wednesday, July 17th @ 315 East Main St., Bozeman, 406.586.8138. Your wine must be picked up within one month of the event.

We hope that you have a delightful time enjoying the food and wine at the 18th Annual Wine & Culinary Classic! For your safety and enjoyment, MOR strongly encourages the use of limos, taxis and designated drivers. Classic Limo, a Wine and Culinary Classic sponsor, will be offering complimentary shuttle service (within Bozeman’s city limits) after the event for those who feel they’ve had a bit too much to drink and have not made alternative arrangements.

Please ask at the Check In \ Check Out table for transportation by Classic Limo, if needed, and PLEASE DO NOT DRIVE IMPAIRED. Each guest agrees that the purchase of a ticket and attendance at this event constitutes an acknowledgment that the hosts shall not be liable for any injuries or damages to any guest or the property of any guest while attending or traveling to and from the event.

PHOTO BOOTH
Capture the fun and commemorate your evening at our Photo Booth, sponsored by Winslow Studio and Gallery! You will be provided with a link to access the photos that are taken of you. Photo packages will be available for purchase through Winslow Studio.

LIVE AUCTION ADVANCE REMOTE BIDDING
Send your maximum bid to events@montana.edu by MIDNIGHT on July 12th. Your maximum bid will be given confidentially to a Museum staff person who will bid incrementally on your behalf up to your maximum bid amount. If you would like to participate in live bidding during the auction, your remote bidder will call you as your item is coming up for bid and attempt to win the item for you at the best price. AUCTION ITEM PICK-UP AND SHIPPING
Auction Items that were not picked up at the event can be picked up at the Museum weekdays beginning Tuesday, July 16th, from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Delivery is available within Bozeman. Delivery outside of Bozeman is also available, but delivery charges apply. Shipping is available on all non-wine items, but shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser. If you need to make special delivery arrangements, please contact Leslie Harrison, Events Manager, at 406.994.1998 or events@montana.edu. The Museum will contact all successful bidders by July 30th.

CONDITIONS OF SALE

  1. Upon entry or before the event, each guest will be given a bid number. To bid in the Live or Pay It Forward Auctions, simply hold up your bid number so the auctioneer or spotters can see it. To bid in the Silent Auction, you will be given a Text2Bid link and instructions to download the app onto your cell phone (there will be tablets available in the Silent Auction area for those who do not have their cellphone).
  2. A bid acknowledged by the auctioneer is a legal contract to purchase the item in the Live Auction. Your bid is a legal contract to purchase if it is the last, highest bid, which is acceptable.
  3. Although the information has been obtained from sources deemed reliable, the auctioneer makes no warranty or guarantee, expressed or implied, as to the accuracy of the information herein contained. Please take the opportunity to inspect items prior to the Auction. Statements by the auctioneer at the time of sale will take precedence.
  4. Live auction purchasers and Pay It Forward Auction contributors may pay for their items and donations at the Check Out table that opens at 10 p.m. Invoices will be sent out the week after the event. Silent Auction purchases will be paid through the Text2Bid App.
  5. Live Auction and Pay It Forward Auction payments may be made by cash, personal check, or credit card (American Express, MasterCard, Visa). Silent Auction purchases are paid with a credit card through the Text2Bid App.
  6. Please pick up your auction item purchases from the Check Out table as you leave the event.
  7. In a split bid for an item, only one purchaser can be responsible for payment.
  8. All purchases are final.
  9. Arrangements for special events must be completed within one year of the auction unless otherwise specified. Arrangements should be made directly with the lot sponsor. This information will be provided to you.
  10. Your payments may be tax-deductible for the part of your bid that is in excess of the fair market value of the item purchased.
  11. In the majority of cases, items sold at the Wine and Culinary Classic are donated by generous businesses and individuals. In some cases, MOR will procure art objects or travel opportunities for fundraising purposes.
  12. Under no circumstances will MOR employ “shill bidders” to escalate an auction beyond the minimum bid allowance, if one is established.
