The Yellowstone Writing Project invites Montana teachers and school leaders to our sixth annual winter conference, Fire on the Page! This year's conference "Fire on the Page: A Writing Playground!" is Saturday, February 8th at the Museum of the Rockies. Throughout the day, we will find joy in writing ourselves so that we might share that joy with our students. Explore fun ways of sparking your own creativity, enthusiasm, and dedication to writing. Then, envision how you will do the same for your students! Expect the rich environment of the Museum of the Rockies to inspire much of our day. Teachers of all disciplines and grade levels are invited and teams of teachers are encouraged!
Our YWP Teacher Consultants will partner with staff members from the Museum of the Rockies, the Montana State University Library, and conference participants to explore how we can maximize the full learning and writing potential of the imagery that surrounds us. Teachers of all disciplines and grade levels are invited and teams of teachers are encouraged! We also invite principals and curriculum leaders who are interested in thinking more about how writing builds and utilizes community.
Cancellations on or before February 4th will be assessed a processing fee of $25. There will be no refunds after February 5th.
Montana OPI renewal credits will be awarded. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions. We look forward to writing with you in February!
