Join us for our first DINOSAURS & MOR! This new program celebrates the science of paleontology with family-friendly paleo-passport stations and world-class presentations by paleo experts. Museum members will also have the opportunity to sign up for behind-the-scenes tours and family-friendly workshops. From dinosaur newbies to experienced scientists, there will be something for everyone at DINOSAURS & MOR!

Museum admission and pre-registration will be required for the paleo presentations due to the limited seating in the Hager Auditorium. The members-only events will require an additional fee and pre-registration.

Paleo Passports
9 a.m. – 1 p.m. | Included with admission

The first 300 children will receive a Paleo Passport and embark on an information quest around the museum. Get a passport stamp at all of the stations to become a certified Jr. Paleontologist and earn a special prize!

Paleontology Presentations
10 a.m., 11 a.m., 2 p.m., & 3 p.m. | Included with admission | Advance tickets required due to limited seating

MOR Member Family Workshop
10:30 a.m. & 12:30 p.m. | Members only, $5/member | Advance registration required

Museum members will join our Education Specialist Mr. Dillon in a family-friendly one hour class about dinosaur basics. What is a dinosaur, exactly? Why are there so many kinds of dinosaurs? Why is Montana so good for finding dinosaurs? Learn about these topics and more, and take home a special item. MOR Member Family Workshops will meet in the Redstart Classroom, in the Lower Level Lobby. Note: Registration fees are non-refundable. Click the hyperlinks below to register.

MOR Member Behind-the-scenes Paleo Collection Tour
12:30 & 1 p.m. | Members only, $15/member | Age 6+ only | Advance registration required

Did you know that less than five percent of MOR’s fossil collections are on display? Museum members will join MOR paleontologists Dr. Scannella, Amy Atwater, and Scott Williams in a rare behind-the-scenes tour of our secure fossil collection. Each tour will be approximately 30 minutes in length.
