Luckily for MOR, while on vacation a few years ago, visiting friends in Bozeman, Sidrah met her now-husband at the Filler on Rouse. A few years later, she left California to follow her heart that had decidedly migrated to a colder place.
Sidrah possesses a rich range of experiences from coordinating on-site events for outstanding venues, managing vendors, training volunteer staffs for volunteer-run conferences, supervising paid employees, project managing for groundbreaking conferences, freelance producing corporate events, running summer camps, to working in events sales.
These varied experiences built characteristics ideal for working with volunteers: patience, organization, expressive gratitude, and empathy. Cultivating relationships that result in a healthy and thriving volunteer community is a beautiful duty and a responsibility that Sidrah holds dear.
Outside of work, she is a dino-loving Mama, a cookbook fiend, and a graduate student in adult and higher education. When she's not writing or snuggling a toddler, she can be found making meals for friends, drinking a strong cup of black coffee, enjoying a quiet hike in the mountains, or taking a raucous spin class.
