Cosmos & Cookies: A SPECIAL Member-Only Series of Events

Wednesday, December 4, 2024
at 6:00pm – 7:30pm

Wednesday, December 4, 2024
at 6:00pm – 7:30pm

At MOR’s Cosmos and Cookies events, members can premier new planetarium shows before they are open to the public, just as they can preview MOR’s newest exhibits before they are open to public at member-only exhibit opening receptions.

This December’s Cosmos and Cookies is special! Instead of premiering a new show, you and your family will get a behind-the-scenes sneak peek at how planetarium shows are made. You will see how MOR’s original show, Season of Light, was created and later adapted.

*We will use one of your family’s winter or holiday photos to demonstrate how planetarium shows can be changed. Please submit it when you reserve space in this Cosmos and Cookies program.

Schedule:
6:00 p.m. | Enjoy cookies and meet other MOR members and member families
6:15 p.m. | The making of MOR’s original Season of Light planetarium show
                 | Short Cookie Break
6:30 p.m. | A showing of Season of Light Including your photos for this show only!
                 | Q&A

*After you have reserved a spot at the event, you may submit ONE picture to be included in the adaptation of this planetarium show. Send your photo to members@montana.edu with the subject line title being “Season of Light Holiday Photo (and your last name).”
