CONTEST: Name the New Museum Café

Museum of the Rockies (MOR) is excited to announce a naming contest for its new café, set to open in the Bair Lobby by Memorial Day 2025. The museum plans to sell espresso drinks (beans from Bozeman’s Yellowstone Coffee Roasters), specialty sodas/waters, grab-and-go sandwiches, and snacks from the new café. Submission Period: November 20 – December 20, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. MST.
Eligibility: Open to the general public age; one entry per person. MOR Board of Trustees, Volunteers, Staff, and immediate family members of Museum of the Rockies employees are not eligible to participate.
Submission Method: Entries must be submitted via this online form only.
Submission: The submitted name should be original, family-friendly, and reflect the mission and identity of the museum.
Prize: The winner will receive a 12-month general museum membership (new or renewing individual, dual, or family) and a $100 gift card for the new café.
Final Decision: The selection committee will shortlist three top names and conduct a final review to select the winning entry. Submissions will be reviewed on a "first come, first serve" basis via the form submission date and timestamp to avoid disputes involving a duplicate entry. Museum of the Rockies reserves the right not to choose a submitted name if the entry is found to be plagiarized, trademarked, inappropriate, or the submission pool is not large enough to choose a suitable name.
Announcement Date: The winning name will be announced in January 2025.
MOR reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to withdraw, amend, or suspend this Contest (or to amend these Rules) in any way, in the event of an error, technical or administrative problem, computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the museum that interferes with the proper conduct of this Contest as contemplated by these Rules.
