Popnology explores the fascinating intersection of pop culture, science fiction, and technological innovation. From the gadgets imagined in classic films to today's groundbreaking inventions, this immersive exhibition reveals how the stories we love have inspired the technologies we use every day. 

Through hands-on experiences, iconic artifacts, and engaging interactives, visitors of all ages will discover how imagination has shaped, and continues to shape, our future.

MOR Exclusive: Luke Skywalker lightsaber from “Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back”

This includes a piece of cinema history highlighted in the exhibit: the screen-used Luke Skywalker lightsaber from “Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back.” 

On loan from an anonymous donor, the lightsaber includes the practical-effects, severed-hand rig engineered by renowned makeup artist Stuart Freeborn for the Cloud City duel between Skywalker and Darth Vader.
