The Janke Executive Boardroom offers a sophisticated atmosphere for executive meetings and intimate gatherings. A spacious 20-person conference table adorned with comfortable upholstered armchairs accommodating up to 28 people provides a professional and conducive environment. A convenient service bar, a small sink, a conference phone, and a pull-down screen complement the room.

The petite Seminar Room can accommodate up to 18 individuals. Flexible table and chair configurations provide a comfortable and inspiring space for workshops, discussions, and smaller group sessions.

To ensure a seamless planning process, we kindly request that reservations be made at least six (6) weeks in advance of your desired event date. However, we highly recommend securing your preferred date as early as possible, as our available spaces tend to be in high demand.

A 25% deposit is required upon booking to secure your reservation, and we are pleased to inform you that this deposit is fully refundable if a cancellation is made at least 30 days prior to the scheduled event.

To ensure a seamless and enjoyable event experience, every rental at Museum of the Rockies includes the presence of a dedicated museum staff member who will serve as your gracious host. Additionally, for the utmost security and peace of mind, at least one professional security guard will be present throughout your event, ensuring the safety of both the building and the priceless collections within.

Our attentive museum staff will ensure that all requested tables, chairs, and equipment are thoughtfully arranged within your designated rental space, allowing you and your guests to fully immerse yourselves in the ambiance and purpose of your event. Please be aware that while we provide the essential furniture and equipment; linens, decorations, dishes, glassware, and stemware are not available for rent from the museum.

As part of our commitment to maintaining a clean and inviting environment, basic custodial services are included in the rental fee. It is the responsibility of the renter to leave the rental areas, including any utilized kitchen space, in a clean and orderly fashion. To assist you in this regard, our MOR staff will provide a cleaning kit if needed, as well as a helpful checklist to ensure all necessary tasks are completed at the end of your event. In the event that the areas are not appropriately cleaned and orderly, a cleaning fee of $100 per hour will be assessed.

Certainly! We want to ensure that your event at Museum of the Rockies is a memorable and enjoyable experience. You are welcome to include alcohol as part of your event, but please note that prior approval is required.

To initiate the approval process, kindly complete the online Montana State University Alcohol Request Form, which will be automatically submitted to Montana State University's Auxiliary Services. It is important to submit this form at least three weeks before your event date. Once approved, please provide a copy of the approved form to our Facility Rentals Manager.

For your convenience and compliance with licensing regulations, it is essential that all alcoholic beverages are supplied, prepared, and served by a licensed bartender operating under a caterer's license. While Museum of the Rockies does not offer catering or bartending services directly, we are more than happy to recommend reputable businesses in Bozeman that can provide these services for your event. We are committed to assisting you in making the necessary arrangements to ensure a seamless and responsible alcohol service during your event.

To ensure a smooth and enjoyable event experience at Museum of the Rockies, we have established certain restrictions and guidelines regarding decoration placement and attachment methods, music, and entertainment. In order to facilitate a seamless coordination process, we kindly request that the renter submits a list of all outside vendors to our Facility Rental Manager no later than 30 days prior to the event. At Museum of the Rockies, we welcome the opportunity for visitors to capture special moments through still and video photography for non-commercial use within our exhibitions, unless otherwise posted. We encourage you to document your experience and preserve memories during your visit.

To ensure the safety of our visitors and the protection of our valuable collections, we kindly request that tripods, monopods, and selfie sticks are not used within the museum premises at any time. This policy helps to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests.

We understand that budget constraints can be a challenge for some organizations. At Museum of the Rockies, we strive to accommodate various entities and support their events and activities. We offer discounts to eligible groups to help make our rental spaces more accessible.

For Montana State University entities, we provide a 15% discount on rental fees. We also offer a 10% discount to 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations, recognizing their valuable contributions to the community. In addition, we offer varying discount levels based on your MOR Business Membership level, providing additional benefits and cost savings.
