The Apsáalooke Women and Warriors exhibit back gallery will be closed for two days on September 6 and 7.
Apsáalooke people will assist MOR and Field Musem staff to briefly and culturally place the sacred war shields in the sun. Field Museum staff will then clean and return the shields to their display cases in the exhibit hall.
Visitors will return through the Siebel Dinosaur Complex to return to the lobby once they reach the far wall in the Paugh History Hall.
