Join avid birder and Outreach Program Manager Ashley Hall for an introduction to birding, also known as avian dinosaur watching! While the mighty T. rex may be long gone, its avian descendants continue to thrive in our region’s diverse habitats.

Learn essential birding skills, including proper binocular techniques, identifying birds by shape and call, and using an eBird account to track sightings. We will begin by meeting at a local natural area, where we will look and listen for birds in the wild. After our birding adventure, we will head to a nearby brewery (by foot, car, or other means) to relax and share our experiences.

$20/member, $25 non-member
Limited to 15 adults, Age 21+ only
