Tyrant Tales: Exhibit Development, Skeletal Remounting, and Recent Research into the World of SUE the T. rex with Dr. Thomas Cullen

The Tyrannosaurus rex known as SUE has greatly influenced our understanding of this iconic carnivore and its world. Join Dr. Thomas Cullen as he discusses the design and construction of the SUE the T. rex exhibit. Learn about the science behind updates to the skeletal mount, the in-life reconstruction of the dinosaur, and insights into the broader world T. rex once inhabited.

What can fossils teach us about the world today? Paleontological discoveries continue to illuminate Earth’s distant past and the creatures that once roamed it. This speaker series highlights recent findings and current hypotheses, presented by scientists who are actively studying how life on Earth has evolved. After the lecture, join us for a meet-and-greet with the speaker, along with light refreshments.
