Museum of the Rockies is dedicated to life-long learning.
As a community resource and regional museum, MOR offers a variety of programs to meet the needs of all of our audiences, including adults. While families often fill our exhibits, we invite our adult audience to join us for programs, workshops, and lectures geared just for them. Whether it's a formal lecture in our auditorium, field trip or workshop with an expert, or learning about brewing while drinking a beer, MOR encourages our adult community to connect to all the resources MOR has to offer in a format they enjoy.
Many adults enjoy participating more in depth in Museum content through volunteering. Volunteer opportunities range from staffing activity carts to preparing fossils, helping with our Museum Family Days, joining a benefit event planning committees, helping with security, putting together mailings, and giving guided tours. Plus, each summer volunteer interpreters at the Living History Farm demonstrate the day-to-day activities of a Montana farm in the 1890s.
There is always something new to learn at MOR!
