Alicia was born in Cut Bank, MT, and spent most weekends and summers of her youth at the family cabin near Glacier National Park. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in hotel and restaurant administration and a minor in business management from Washington State University. From there, Alicia moved to Arizona to hold various management positions at Hyatt Regency Scottsdale at Gainey Ranch, managed Wahweap Lodge (now Lake Powell Resort) in Page, and opened and managed Hidden Meadow Ranch, a luxury guest ranch near Greer.
In 2003, she moved back to Montana to be the director of sales, marketing, and business relations for Glacier Park, Inc. (now Pursuit). In 2012, Alicia became Delaware North's regional director of sales and marketing for their hotels in West Yellowstone and Whitefish and their national park concession contracts in Yellowstone NP, Olympic NP, and Grand Canyon NP. In June 2016, she became the director of marketing at Museum of the Rockies, where her team executes a full suite of marketing and public relations functions for the museum.
Alicia and her husband Tim enjoy golfing, X-country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, and mountain biking. She also enjoys swimming with sharks and drumming.
