Taste of the Rockies is a celebration of the museum and the richness of the Northern Rocky Mountain region. It is a delectable blend of food and drink with a festive atmosphere that explores western heritage, fascinating paleontology, and the summer’s changing exhibit.

MOR will host 300 patrons for an outdoor evening where they will enjoy a tasty spread of Northern Rockies fare, regional brews, and fine wines. Guests will be entertained during events themed around western culture, paleontology, and the Apsáalooke Women and Warriors exhibit. Live music, dancing, games, and unique live auction and raffle items round out the event.

The event will be hosted by Jennifer Miller, Alycia Patencio Travis, Steven Enoch, Thomas & Dar Wilson, Stephanie Dickson, and Phyllis Lewis.

  • Individual tickets: $150 for museum members, $175 for non-members
  • Reserved seating: $300 per person
  • Benefit sponsorship: Begins at $1,000 for two people

An intimate and exclusive evening with a champagne reception in the Taylor Planetarium, a gourmet dinner in the Siebel Dinosaur Complex, and memorable VIP speaker.

The events are hosted by Chair Aimee Dendrinos, Denise Sheehy, Linda Hodges, Carol Glenn Lalani, Anna Makarechian, Paul Makarechian, Jim McCray, Dr. Philip Saccoccia Jr., and Kath Williams, Ph.D.

Benefit events at Museum of the Rockies generate vital support for Museum of the Rockies, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. By holding a full slate of benefit events throughout the year, we have the chance to gather with our members and friends to celebrate the museum while also raising much-needed funds. Volunteers from the Board of Trustees and host committees are involved in planning and designing the events and seeking sponsors, guests, and business partners. 

Without revenue from our events, we could not offer a dynamic array of internationally acclaimed exhibitions and planetarium shows, offer a comprehensive range of educational programs, and maintain the unparalleled collections of paleontology, geology, history, art, and photography. Thank you for your continued support.
