NEW! On the Rocks Ice Bar

Enjoy this indoor/outdoor age 21+ evening that features a carved ice bar and the history of Rocky Mountain ice harvesting. Gather around campfires and step up to the ice bar “luge” on our outdoor plaza in your snow boots to choose an icy cocktail and enjoy hot chili and cornbread. Warm up inside by viewing ice harvesting artifacts and watching a live Taylor Planetarium show about Montana’s winter skies.  Join interpreters in the Tinsley House to learn about the critical role of ice and root cellars in the daily life of settler families in Montana. Ticket price includes two icy cocktails, hot chili, cornbread, cider, dessert, and educational program. This benefit event supports the museum’s educational mission.
