Emily Post

Campaign Manager

Emily is honored to work with such a dynamic team, grounded in a deep value for and understanding of Montana’s cultural and natural heritage, at the heart of Museum of the Rockies’ mission. She grew up among the northern woods and lakes of Idaho but was drawn to Montana by its wild landscapes and the character of its people after completing a bachelor’s degree in biology at Western Washington University.

At University of Montana, Emily earned a master’s degree in economics, where her thesis examined contributing factors to human well-being using a global dataset. This research shaped her interest in how people, institutions, and shared resources come together to support healthy, secure, and thriving communities, an interest that closely aligns with MOR’s role as a steward of knowledge, place-based education, and public trust.

Her career spans resource management and conservation, applied K–8 education, local government administration, and fundraising. Together, these experiences inform her work supporting MOR’s community of members, financial contributors, Board of Directors, MSU partners, and staff as she helps advance the museum’s strategic vision: expanding access, deepening learning and discovery, and ensuring the long-term vitality of this world-class institution for Montana and beyond.
