EmmaKaite, "EK," was born in the deserts of Tucson, Arizona, and has adventured her way across the West to end up here in Bozeman. She mostly grew up in Northern Utah tucked away between two mountain ranges, and most days EmmaKaite could be found at musical rehearsal, hammocking at the local dam, or biking with her little siblings around town.
Passionate about her community, EmmaKaite served as Youth Mayor of Wellsville for two years, coordinating events and local service projects. She inherited her green thumb and love of animals from her cool parents, as well as her affection for April Fool's Day and Halloween.
After receiving the Russell Saxton Theatre Scholarship to Utah Tech University, she studied, acted, danced, hiked, and biked around Southern Utah for 6 years. (She highly recommends riding eBikes through Zion National Park.)
EmmaKaite is pursuing a degree in Psychology with a minor in Theatre. She worked in mental health for years as a Youth Mentor/CO for at-risk youth, then as a Registered Behavioral Therapist for autistic children. She met her husband Tommy in 2022, and after exploring the Wild West together, he proposed at her favorite botanical garden. Together, they enjoy live music, naps on the beach, and excellent food (around town and at home, thanks to Tommy's magic touch in the kitchen).
New to Montana, EmmaKaite is an extroverted artist, plant enthusiast, thriftaholic, and avid reader. When she's not crafting lattes, EK is exploring the outdoors, attending MSU seminars, or winning against her husband in Mario Kart (75% of the time). The RRR Cafe allows EK's creativity to shine via brainstorming new drinks for our changing museum exhibits and crafting custom artworks for the specials board. EK would love it if you came to say hello!
