Historic Interpretation and Programs Manager
Peyton was born in Missoula, Montana, and moved to Bozeman to attend Montana State University. She graduated in spring 2024 with a bachelor's degree in History and a minor in Museum Studies.
As the Manager of Historic Interpretation & Programs, Peyton oversees historic interpretation and history-based programming, focusing on engaging visitors through immersive educational experiences that connect people to the past.
Peyton leads the Museum's Living History Farm operations and history-based programming, working alongside staff to create meaningful and engaging experiences for visitors. Throughout the year, she also develops and hosts workshops, educational programs, and special events for audiences of all ages.
In addition to her work at Museum of the Rockies, Peyton is a Master of Public Administration candidate at Montana State University. Through her graduate studies, she is deepening her understanding of nonprofit leadership and administration to better support organizations dedicated to education, community engagement, and lifelong learning.
Peyton is passionate about creating accessible, inclusive, and inspiring opportunities for learning. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, spending time with loved ones, and traveling.
